Last time we showcased their lovely portraits, prep coverage, and ceremony…but we can’t wait until you see what we have in store today! The wedding party portraits are just classic! We tried out a few new fun ones, but these guys also busted out in a full, unique dance that made us laugh so hard we almost couldn’t shoot anymore. After they worked out all the wiggles, we settled into some gorgeous sunset Bride & Groom first dance time.

Johnson Wedding {Part One}

Gina & Bobby’s day was filled with friends, family, happiness & laughter. The event was very intimate and thoughtful with many of their closest friends staying on site over the wedding weekend. The property they chose (Bella Gardens Estate) was nice and private, tucked away, and had beautiful little portrait areas with plenty of depth and shade. The candor was light and the details were simple, yet elegant. We were lucky to start off this year’s wedding season joined with such a genuine and fun-filled wedding party. They even had a dance they made up, specifically for the bride and groom, and named after the bride and groom! You will have to stay tuned for Part Two of the Johnson Wedding Blog (coming soon). Brianne & Marcus’ Merrywood Farm Wedding
We have had such a fantastic year shooting weddings in Southern California. We also had some great opportunities to cover a few Oregon weddings this Summer. Since the brides and grooms we work for are so awesome, and have such amazing taste, Style Me Pretty has picked up one of our weddings! We will be submitting several other Summer weddings to publications during the coming down-season, and hope to share more good news with you in the very near future!
We’re ecstatic to share this news with everyone, that Style Me Pretty picked up Brianne & Marcus’ Portland Oregon Merrywood Farm Wedding for feature on their Blog. Brianne & Marcus had so many unique touches interlaced into their wedding…it had a great, down-to-earth touch of country, mason jars, and great food! They even stopped after the ceremony for a quick break from the hustle bustle to have a mini-picnic and let the reality sink in.

Stringfellow Wedding {Part One}

There was no other option; he could not live without her.
He took that leap, dropped a knee in the Gardens of Versailles, and forged their life-long path together. This love took him more than 5,000 miles, across oceans and continents, just to be with her. He knew the search was over, as no one else in this world made him feel like he did when he was with her.
That spark in her eye, the smile on her face, and the wholesome feeling she had every time he was near. He was her cup of tea…her English delight (with great teeth might I add . He came equipped with a whit to match his charm and good looks; she was sure to cave.
After Versailles, their fates were sealed and histories re-written.
It’s with great honor that I am given the opportunity to share the story of Becky & John through these images. Their Newland House, Huntington Beach wedding was spectacular in every way. The entire wedding party was so helpful, polite, and in only the best of spirits. Their awesome candor set the tone for this perfect day, and for this new chapter in Becky & John’s life. I only wish that they continue to be surrounded by such loving and thoughtful friends and family for their entire lives. Working for couples like Becky & John make me forget I’m even working, and they make what we do truly worth-while.

Stack Wedding {Part Two}

There was too much great content from the beginning of their day that we had to wait until now to show you their ceremony & reception. It’s just too hard to choose!! I digress…back on track. The venue had great areas of open shade, nice little alcoves tucked away, and it all made for such a great overall experience. Unfortunately, some areas are off limits to non-members, including some long, elegant hallways with lounges that looked suitable for boudoir. Overall, there was more than plenty to work with, and the Stacks totally rocked it!
It was a relatively small wedding, making the ceremony very nice and personable, and the money dances pretty hysterical! Thanks again for visiting to relive their special day; enjoy the photographs and the memories. Cheers to you two, and we wish you a lifetime of happiness!

Stack Wedding {Part One}

I just love the content that we have to share with you today from our latest wedding at Spanish Hills Country Club in Camarillo! If you missed our last wedding, you can see it here Wayfarers Chapel Wedding Ceremony, Rancho Palos Verde and here Double Tree Hotel Wedding Reception, San Pedro.
It makes us so happy to work with clients like the Stacks. We’ve been able to see their relationship grow over the last year, and it was an honor to be there capturing their special day. Her dress could drop a jaw, but she had eyes only for him. These two have such a fun, playful way with one another that is truly amazing to see through the lens. When they’re together, even in a room full of people, they’re alone with each other, and wrapped up in their inside jokes and cute antics. This day day couldn’t have been any more perfect, and we are so happy to have been a part of it!
The Spanish Hills Country Club was a splendid venue. The wait and management staff were very professional, the ceremony site had an amazing view, and the reception hall was exceptionally stunning. There were several nice, private areas to sneak away and grab candid portraits, including their fountains, courtyards, and well landscaped walking paths.

Timmons Wedding {Part Two}
Wayfarers Chapel Wedding | Palos Verdes, CA

Everything was in their favor that day. The sunset in Palos Verde was beautiful, and the view of Catalina Island was clear…something you can’t help but to stop and watch. We took the happy couple out to a few spots around the property with the big lights and caught some shots they will treasure for the rest of their lives. We were able to overcome the very intense and strictly enforced time restrictions at the Wayfarers Chapel…not ideal conditions to work under, but we walked away with spectacular images!
Their reception at the Double Tree Hotel San Pedro was perfect! The first dance was timeless, the speeches were from deep down, and the party was on! We again thank the Timmons for having up as honored guests at their wedding, and more importantly, for being genuine people & good friends.
